About the Education for Sustainable Living Program
The Education for Sustainable Living Program is a student-led organization committed to empowering young people to take meaningful action in the climate crisis through experiential learning and community engagement.
Our Mission
We empower students to become effective environmental advocates by providing tools, resources, and support networks that transform climate concern into tangible action. Through hands-on projects and leadership development, we help young people build the skills and confidence needed to create lasting environmental change in their communities.
Our Story
Founded by students who wanted to move beyond awareness campaigns into practical environmental action, ESLP emerged from the recognition that traditional education often fails to inspire genuine behavioral change. We believe that when young people are given autonomy, resources, and supportive frameworks, they can develop innovative solutions to sustainability challenges that reflect their communities' unique needs and values.
